Hometowns with a “sense of place” are vibrant, engaged, growing, and economically successful. They are places people want to live and raise families. There are new reasons every day why this describes Tallahassee. Fast Forward Tallahassee offers a chance for citizens to get a sneak peek at new and upcoming projects, development, ideas, businesses, and more throughout Tallahassee. The evening serves up a speedy look at everything new and cool right here in our hometown. We like to call it part civics, part sporting event!

The format for Fast Forward is a series of fast-paced “Pecha Kucha” style presentations (meaning “chit chat” in Japanese). Our talented emcee Greg Tish will guide us through a fun-filled, fast sampling of what’s cool, new, and interesting around town. Each presentation will contain 15 slides, each advancing automatically after 20 seconds. This keeps the “fast” in Fast Forward! You get to enjoy the highlights of many different ideas and projects through visual storytelling, allowing you to dive deeper into those that especially resonate with you at another time.
