In times of crisis, most separate. Local Color gathers — across differences in color, creed and ideology. After the Trayvon Martin tragedy we realized that our community needed a place that values racial and political diversity — and that we couldn’t wait until a crisis confronts us with the reality of our distance to come together.
Local Color is a network of citizens from all viewpoints and walks of life who stay connected – despite and because of personal differences – with a shared goal of building a Tallahassee that can transcend and transform racial division.
We’ll let you hear from two of our Local Color catalysts about what they hope for.
